About the role
The Graduate Trainee scheme has become an integral part of Information Systems and Digital Services (ISDS). It enables graduates to be supported in their development, as they experience working across each of the major functions of ISDS such as Campus Support, IT Helpline and Infrastructure. In each area you will be inducted as part of the team helping to support the services they provide. ISDS have an ever evolving portfolio of projects that you will also be involved in.
About you
Above all, you'll be passionate about providing good customer service and have good, up to date knowledge about a variety of computing technologies.
To be successful in this role you will
- Be able to diagnose IT and AV problems from conversations with users via a variety of communication methods with a wide range of technical understanding
- Ability to priortise own workload and to handle a number of competing tasks
- Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with a variety of stakeholders
- Be able to effectively manage your time, while working on multiple projects with different deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well under pressure
