    The Research and Knowledge Exchange (RKE) Directorate is seeking to appoint a PGR Support Administrator withn the Development and Funding Team in the Graduate School.

    About the Role

    Reporting to the PGR Development & Funding Officer, you will support the delivery of the University's PGR funding portfolio. You will be an important point of contact for queries and requests relating to PGR funding activities, and you will ensure these activities comply with internal and external policies.

    In conjunction with colleagues in the Graduate School and wider University, you will provide support for research students including advice and guidance on scholarships and other available funding streams, assistance with travel and accommodation bookings for funded students.

    The post holder will have the opportunity to work with a network of colleagues to deliver and develop a high-quality service across the University.

    About You

    You will have substantial experience of working in a busy administrative role with a proven track record of communicating effectively accurate information and guidance to customers. You should also have:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Good numerical and analytical skills.
    • The ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.
    • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise a variety of work activities in a busy environment and meet strict deadlines.

    You must also have a commitment to excellent customer service and be willing to complete development and training in line with service requirements.
