The Purpose
Support PMO and Central Strategy team with:
- Developing strategic analysis / operational plans
- Supporting project management and implementation
- Supporting reporting process e.g. liaising with business units / collating inputs / developing reports
The Role
Principal outputs
- PMO Planning:
- Support in management of plans and reporting
- Develop key insights through:
- Market research: Undertaking desktop market research (e.g. assessing market trends / benchmarking)
- Data analysis: Using internal / external data sources to analyse data and pull-out key findings using data visualisation
- Developing outputs: Developing structured, simple outputs in Microsoft Office (e.g. PPT / Excel) and Google Docs. (e.g. Google Sheets / Google Slides)
- Communicating:
- Presenting outputs to internal team – incl. general project management (e.g. status updates)
- Liaising with other teams to collate info / inputs (incl. for reporting process)
Challenges
- Flexibility to work across different projects / topics and being able to juggle workload depending on team priorities
- Summarising complex analysis in simple, well-structured outputs
The Person
Skills
- Research skills
- Numeracy: Comfortable with data analysis and numbers
- Communication: Clear written and verbal communication
- Microsoft Office (e.g. PPT / Excel) – some experience with Google Docs desirable (e.g. Google Sheets) but not essential
Experience
- Bachelors’ Degree from Russell Group university / equivalent (Minimum 2.1. honours / equivalent)
- Prior internship experience - ideally in professional services e.g. consulting, banking, corporate finance etc.

- Comfortable with working across different projects / topics and being able to juggle workload depending on team priorities
