Our Technology Summer Internship Programme, for penultimate year university students, is a pipeline into our Technology Graduate Programme. It has been crafted to simulate our Technology Graduate Programme so that you can understand what a career in technology at MarketAxess would really be like.

General Support Responsibilities Include
Recruitment Process:
We operate a rolling recruitment process with assessment centres starting from January 2023.
- The first stage of the recruitment process involves a review of your CV and covering letter.
- Should you pass the initial screening stage, you will be invited to a competency-based telephone interview with HR and line manager
- The final stage is an assessment centre which involves a number of different types of exercises – further information is provided at the point of invite.
Person Specification
Knowledge/Experience
- You will have an interest in technology demonstrated either via your work experience, extracurricular activities, or academic studies. For instance, you may be part of a Computing Society, have taught yourself how to code or have focused on technology as part of a university project.
- You should be interested in financial markets and how technology supports our business.
- A curiosity for data and an ability to analyse information to draw conclusions and propose solutions.
- Individuals who can connect the dots and think creatively.
- The environment we work in is fast paced, you’ll need to demonstrate focus, resilience, and the flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
- People who can collaborate with others, using their strong communication skills in the process.
