Entry requirements

To be eligible to participate in Marriott International’s Global Leadership Development Program Voyage in the United Kingdom you;

• Must have, or be due to, graduate from a university or hotel school between September 2020 and September 2022,
• Read, write and converse in English fluently,
• Have the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Applicants that do not meet these criteria will be automatically regretted and removed from consideration from this traineeship program

The role

As a member of our Room Operation team, you’ll develop a first-hand knowledge of the guest experience from first contact through to check-out and beyond.

Immersing you in this fascinating world from your very first day, you’ll form part of the supervisory team.

You will develop an insider knowledge of;

• Front office, guest relations, reception and housekeeping
• Management of shifts,
• Room inventory management
• Guest metric improvement projects,
• Payroll,
• Team recruitment and motivation.

We’ll provide you with the expertise you need to take on a senior-level role with us once you’ve completed the program.

What you’ll bring

• A passion for learning and a willingness to get stuck-in are at the top of our ‘must-have’ list
• You’ll also champion innovation, and you’ll be quick to come up with creative solutions to problems that might not have an obvious answer
• Ready to share initiatives and ideas via your Voyage project, you’ll be keen to take on special projects that will make the most of your new skills
• As a team-player who is highly organised, it would be beneficial if you have previous experience of working within a hospitality environment
