Joining Marsh Advisory Graduate Programme – Strategic Risk Consulting, you have the exciting opportunity to help some of the world’s most prestigious institutions to understand, manage, mitigate and transform the way they think about their risks.
What you can expect
- We have a number of exciting opportunities in the Consulting graduate track, engaging with clients on key risk and insurance themes – from climate change to cyber, in just about every industry all around the world.
- We are a team of consultants combining risk, cyber, finance, ESG subject-matter experts and generalists who operate across four Practices: Climate Resilience & Strategy, Cyber Risk Consulting, Resilience and Enterprise Risk Services.
- You will gain exposure to all Practices by:
- Supporting senior consultants and practice leaders in the delivery of complex client-facing and internal projects.
- Developing and delivering innovative solutions beyond the buying of insurance, including enhancing risk management approaches.
- Improving clients’ resiliency for when things go wrong.
- Using data-driven analysis to inform a client’s insurance strategy.
- Helping organisations of all shapes and sizes access and benefit from risk analysis in a way relevant to their businesses.
- Acting as a cooperative team member, seek development opportunities and be proactive in asking for and responsive to feedback.
- During the two year programme, we offer you the chance to develop professionally and personally, working side-by-side with business leaders and learning on the job.
- You also have the option complete a rotation across Marsh Advisory e.g. in Analytics, Claims, Captives, Sales, Digital & Innovation, Financial Solutions Group.
- You will have access to the guidance, support and training to enable you to achieve your short-term and long-term career goals.
- We will support you to undertake your ACII qualification relevant to your role.

What you need to have
- Hold, or on track to achieve, a 2:1 or higher in your degree.
- Ability to think strategically, analytically and enjoy solving problems.
- Ability to work in teams and cultivate relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- An interest in the themes of our work is essential, but extensive experience/qualification is not.
What makes you stand out (but is not essential)
- Previous work experience in any of the following areas: strategy consulting, risk management or insurance
- Additional languages
- Coding skills
