The role
The Mastercard Summer Internship Program is a comprehensive program where students will gain hands on real work-life skills while having fun and contributing to a global company. As an intern, you will be challenged with completing projects that will enhance your skills as well as contribute to the department’s goals and objectives.

What you’ll do
There are Summer Intern opportunities in External Communications, Business Development and Project Management teams for 2024. The External Communications team lead all external-facing communications on Cyber – including media relations, speaking opportunities, social media content, campaign development, analyst relations and creative design. They oversee cybersecurity, financial crime solutions, digital transaction experience solutions and crypto security - dynamic team in one of the fastest growing parts of the Mastercard business.
The Business Development/Commercial Acceptance team are responsible for accelerating supplier enablement and general virtual card acceptance for Mastercard. They manage various internal and external vendor relationships and work closely with issuers to target barriers to client programmes growth. Summer Interns could be involved in some data management and reporting as well as helping with some events we are attending to promote our products and solutions.
Project Managers manage the overall coordination, status reporting, financials, schedules and stability of project-oriented work efforts, ensures that project goals and objectives are met within agreed upon time, scope and resource requirements. They develop detailed project plans and manage all implementation processes within budget constraints.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Providing assistance in the development of project plans
- Monitoring and managing project budget, regularly communicate the status of specific project deliverables, and provide general project team and/or management assistance
What you’ll need
- To be available to work Full-Time between 24th June – 30th August
- To be a Penultimate Masters/Undergraduate Student, due to graduate no earlier than 2025
