    We are looking for a Data Analyst within our logistics team, to support high levels of performances through the design, development, maintenance of effective data tools and data analysis with the view to identifying trends to support data driven decision making through all phases of activity within logistics.

    Responsibilities

    • Supporting the Operational Data and Analytics Manager in the design and development of effective data tools
    • Analysing data with the view to identify trends to support data driven decision making, through all phases of activity within logistics
    • Providing time and accurate KPI reports to the operation, to support in enabling the smooth running of both manual and automated systems
    • Manipulating, analysing and interpreting complex data sets to support the team in submitting business cases based on identified trends
    • Carrying out reporting and analysis to determine opportunities to improve and communicate in a clear and accessible way
    • Designing and implementing effective reports and controls for all phases of logistics activity, and supporting in the development of reports for future DC automation provided analysis for project leads as and when required
    • Supporting on the integration of new systems and tools relating to data and reporting

    About You

    • Computer literate - with experience of WMS, WCS and other Logistics systems. Experience of working with Manhattan would be desirable, but not essential.
    • Previous experience of working in an automated warehousing environment
    • Previous experience of working with data analysis and business reporting
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Strong reporting and data analysis skills
    • Experience with SQL (T-SQL), Power BI (M-Query) and VBA is preferred
    • Commercial & Supply Chain knowledge would be preferred
