    The PR & Social team are looking for a PR Coordinator to join their busy team.  Based in our Head Office in Liverpool, this role will support the PR & Influencer Manager and the wider team.

    This is a vital role within a fast-paced environment and requires someone who is organised, efficient and understands the press, social media and influencer landscape.

    A keen interest in fashion and the retail industry is important and as the PR Coordinator you will be working with different teams across the wider marketing team as well as other departments in the business such as buying. There will also be travel required to London on occasions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee and manage all PR reporting – monitoring & saving daily PR coverage (Vuelio), to ensure internal reports (Released) are up to date.  This will include the overall PR performance, growth, reach and revenue driven from all media channels.
    • Support PR team with reactive and proactive media outreach and develop press relationships with key journalists and publications.
    • Work with PR & Influencer Manager and Press Officer to develop and implement product mapping, and both seasonal and project based comms plans including events.
    • Support the PR & Influencer Manager and Press Officer to identify and compile the relevant target media lists ensuring a tailored approach to each project.
    • Customise event & project mailing lists, prior to invite, image and press release distribution, to ensure targeted press receive appropriate materials.
    • Create and distribute product mailers (seasonal, trend focused, new in etc).
    • Write initial press release drafts (seasonal, trend focussed, brand campaigns, new in etc)
    • Stay up to date with industry movements, to regularly update contact databases with new editors’ details (Vuelio).
    • Monitor, log and compile competitor PR, Social & Influencer activity and share with the wider team.
    • Support in the ideation and creation of the gifting strategy, including the research of social media influencers and co-ordinate the execution.
    • Support at events when required – including hosting, guest check in, invitation distribution and follow up, etc
    • Brief and manage flow of information and samples from the buying teams, in a timely manner to deliver assets for the team, including seasonal press kits, project decks, press releases, etc.
    • Manage the PR image library (PR Shots) to ensure all assets; look books, imagery, press releases and press packs are up to date.
    • Manage the relationship with external Photography Studios regarding the creation of still life product imagery.
    • Day to day management of press samples with the buying team and sample management team
    • Occasional ad hoc support for the wider team i.e. Social Media filming on sets and in store for example.

    About You

    • Experience within a marketing role, agency or in house, with responsibilities including PR & Social.
    • Commercially aware.
    • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
    • Excellent writing and communication skills.
    • Ability to effectively manage time and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Passionate about the fashion & homeware industry and an active interest in the wider cultural sector.
    • Keep up to speed on key industry titles and publications.
    • Strong attention to detail and self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude
    • Communicate effectively and professionally both internally and externally
    • Demonstrate our core values as a continual team player
    • Up to date with the industry and news agenda, showing a desire to consume traditional and social media
    • Minimum 1 year Public Relations experience is preferred
