    As our Trainee Assistant Merchandiser on Central Planning, you will support the Trade & Financial Planning team in delivering business reporting and analysis to support key actions and decisions within the wider business.

    You will also support the team in ensuring all pricing and promotion requirements are actioned on a daily and weekly basis to ensure the smooth transition from planning to go live.

    Key aspects of the role 

    • Working collaboratively with the wider business to support the day to day planning and trading activities.
    • Updating pricing on a daily basis in line with trading team requirements.
    • Utilising multiple systems to create promotions in line with business trading requests.
    • Updating the weekly promotion file and share this with the wider business.
    • Being the point of contact for all pricing and promotion queries.
    • Actioning various admin requests from the trading teams to support ongoing BAU activities.
    • Being a point of contact for admin queries from the trading teams and wider business and follow them through to resolution.
    • Produce and distribute business reporting in a timely manner at various points of the trading cycle, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly.
    • Keeping the Trade Planning Calendars up to date with a forward planned view of activity.

    • Has previous experience working with Excel.
