We are now looking for a Placement Software Engineer to join #TeamGreen in the UK. The role can be based from our Manchester-HQ, or remotely across the UK or Ireland.
Matillion is built around small development teams with responsibility for specific themes and initiatives. Each team is a mix of engineers with various levels of skills and experience whom you will be learning from on a daily basis.
What you will be doing
Build and deliver new features, bug fixes and improvements to customers
- Working within a team to help write, test and release new features and fix problems in the Matillion products.
- Spend almost all of your time hands-on in the production of software for Matillion products.
- Development of UI, based on mockups following UX guidelines.
- Development and improvements in confirmation testing (unit tests, integration tests, API tests, automation, etc.
Contribute to team processes
- Work alongside other engineers to refine and break down user stories for development.
- Offer knowledge of planned work to help plan sprints.
- Offer thoughts and suggestions in retrospectives.
Develop careers
- 1-2-1 meetings with your mentor to actively manage your journey within Matillion.
- Work closely and learn from more experienced engineers.
- Take advantage of learning aids offered by Matillion, such as Udemy and books.
