We are now looking for a Placement Student Test Engineer to join #TeamGreen in the UK. The role can be based from our Manchester-HQ, or remotely across the UK or Ireland.

Matillion’s Test Engineering team verifies/validates the software that drives our business. Using state of the art technology you will be core to the delivery of the Matillion products over multiple platforms. The role of the placement student is to support and facilitate, through the use of manual and automated testing, the smooth, effective assurance of high quality software.

What you will be doing

  • Hands-on testing and merging into the product using CI, as well as creating, updating and maintaining regression packs.
  • Working with the latest cloud technologies from Amazon, Google, Snowflake and Azure.
  • Using a wide range of manual and automated testing tools help validate the quality of the software.
  • Work alongside other engineers to refine and break down user stories for testing.
  • Working as part of a collaborative Agile team.
