We are currently recruiting for an experienced office-based administrator to join the Client Reporting Team (CRT).
This is an office-based role. The successful applicant will be expected to work from Glasgow office (G2 2LW) on a full-time basis. There is potential for this role to be part time (ca 28 hours).
The CRT provides reporting services across Maven’s client base, delivering various internal and external reporting requirements for each client group. The role will involve providing support to this function, with a particular focus on the Maven managed VCTs and the Maven investor partners. Full training will be provided but the successful applicant will be required to demonstrate a number of core competencies.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the CRT in the production of a variety of reporting documents and outputs to meet the requirements of the various client reporting cycles with an initial focus on the production of quarterly board papers and content for annual and interim reports to investors
- Responsibility for settlement and transaction reporting
- Develop a detailed understanding of Maven’s internal reporting system to facilitate assisting in running reports and making timely updates as required
- Assist in the production and review of all the various reporting packs as part of the quality control function
- Assist with ad hoc business requests and involvement in project work as required
- Full training will be provided
What you need to succeed
- Excellent numerical skills essential – Higher Maths (or equivalent qualification) would be desirable
- Great attention to detail
- Must be highly organised with the ability to self-review and quality check your own work
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to tasks and ability to think ahead and plan work schedule
- Be able to prioritise workload and adapt to changing priorities at short notice
- Previous experience in Financial Services Operations, Pricing or NAV production is preferable but not essential
- Experience of reporting cycles would be advantageous
- A team player and work collaboratively with others
- Strong literacy, and IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
