About the role
#TakeABite of life outside of your university studies.
We’re recruiting for a Quality Intern.
You’ll join a line of successful interns that have all been in the same shoes, who walked through the doors of our HQ to gain valuable experience as part of their University Placement year. Some of which have since returned to continue their careers with us.
When?
Join us in July 2024 for an epic 12-month journey with our Quality team.
During your 12-month journey, you'll discover
- Assurance: Making sure our products meet top-notch quality standards through strict testing and controls.
- Control: Keeping an eye on raw materials, processes, and products to ensure they're always spot-on.
- Compliance: Staying up-to-date on safety and legal rules to keep our products legit.
- Suppliers: Ensuring our suppliers deliver quality and working together to make things even better.
- Always Improving: Digging into data to make things smoother and better in terms of quality and efficiency.
- Customer Connections: Listening to what our customers say, fixing issues pronto, and keeping them happy.
- Risk Warriors: Identifying and tackling quality-related risks like a pro.
- Test-Drive: Running tests to make sure our products are safe and top-notch.
In the big picture, the Quality team in FMCG is all about giving you, our customers, the safest, tastiest, and most consistent products while keeping things legit and awesome. It's what keeps our brand shining bright in a tough market.
As an intern, you won't just watch from the sidelines. You'll get hands-on experience, set goals, follow a clear development plan, and chat regularly with your line managers. Plus, you'll build your network inside and outside of McCain, making connections with other interns and pros across the business.
