    We work with some of the UK’s most interesting brands and we’re looking for a Junior Commercial Analyst to come and join us. Armbands optional.

    The part you’ll play as a Junior Commercial Analyst

    We are currently looking for a Junior Commercial Analyst to manage the provision of relevant, appropriate, and timely information for business planning.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Working in a small, dedicated team you will be directly supporting the Commercial Manager in managing the financials for one of our largest clients.
    • Preparing and analysing weekly and monthly management reports on job burns, revenue, forecasts, recoverability, and utilisation.
    • Interpretation of data and clear, concise communication to ensure understanding from non-financial members of McCann.
    • Identify and investigate variances against forecasts, liaising with the client services team.
    • Assisting the Commercial Manager with the preparation and coordination of the monthly reports for submission to executive meetings.
    • Supervision of WIP & Billing ensuring recovery of committed costs.
    • Exploring the development of new reports and information systems in line with the changing needs of the business.

    As Junior Commercial Analyst you’ll bring

    • High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
    • Ability to handle tight deadlines and ad hoc urgent requests
    • A desire to build a career in Commercial Finance with a determination to succeed
    • Extensive Excel skills including: vLookups; Pivot tables; nested IF statements, manipulation of data & formatting
    • Experience in or interest in learning Power BI
    • Ability to structure reports and interpret financial information
    • Confident self-starter capable of handling high volumes of work and data
    • Flexible to be able to adapt and respond to meet changing agency needs and requirements
