    You have an opportunity to be part of the rapidly growing People Analytics industry, The People Insights Analyst works in a close partnership with People Insights Lead, People Leadership Team, People Tech and wider People team by championing a data-driven approach to decision-making.

    You will be responsible for analysing and reporting people data from multiple internal and external sources. Alongside the People Insights Lead, you will become an internal consultant and shape employee decisions across the business. You will also work with the Global McDonalds People Analytics team to help UK business leverage the global scale of the system.

    What will my accountabilities be?

    • Work closely with the People Insights Lead to become a thought partner for key stakeholders and provide insightful recommendations evidenced in data.
    • Seek to understand business needs and achieve results that have a clear impact on business performance.
    • Create and maintain accurate reporting in a timely manner.
    • Identify analytical and reporting optimisation to improve current ways of working.
    • Assist with adoption of data and insights from new People Tech platforms.
    • Partner with the Global McDonalds People Analytics team to deliver synergies of global analytical platforms and people tech.

    What team will I be a part?

    You will work within the People Insights Team, which sits within the HR function of the People Team.

    Who are my customers?

    You will primarily support the People Team, with close links also to the Business Strategy and Insights Team, Operations, and the Global People Insights Team.

    What background do I need to have?

    • You work with data (HR data sets would be an advantage but are not critical), including their extraction from source systems and transformation / cleaning ready for analysis.
    • You are comfortable with using analytical and data visualisation tools e.g., MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI
    • You consider yourself an advanced Excel user.
    • You present data results verbally and in writing.
    • You influence decisions through data led narratives.
    • You can work independently.
    • Any exposure to Python or similar is a plus but is not critical.
