To strengthen our HR team, we are looking for a dynamic individual to join us for the position of HR Assistant. This will be a full-time and permanent position based in our city centre office in Manchester, United Kingdom. HR Assistant is an entry level position in our team. The main duties involve supporting and working closely with the more experienced HR Associate from the Manchester office in daily tasks and HR-related matters. The HR Assistant position covers the wide range of tasks and provides the strong foundation for further advancements and more specialized roles.
Responsibilities:
- Screening applications, organizing and assisting in the selection and recruitment processes
- Communicating with all relevant parties within the company to maintain the efficiency of the recruitment processes
- Preparing recruitment materials and taking part in the company promotional activities through various channels
- Maintaining all information in the relevant systems such as HRMS and recruiting software
- Coordinating team-building activities
- Dealing with regular employee requests and questions
- Participating in event planning and organizing, e.g. New Year
- Organizing, compiling, updating company personnel records and documentation
- Maintaining the internal HR database
- Preparing the legal paperwork, such as employment contracts and annexes and related documentation
- Assisting international employees with short-term expatriate assignments
- Provides administrative support to the employees by providing information packets, reviewing company policies, gathering information for payroll, explaining benefit programs, and obtaining signatures for documents
- Assisting in payroll preparation by providing relevant data, like absences, bonuses, and leaves
- Providing references for employment, housing etc.
- Participating in different HR projects and supporting colleagues in higher positions with various tasks
Qualification:
- Educational background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR or related field
- General Work Experience: previous working experience or internship in the HR department is preferred, but not required
- CIPD Qualification: Preferred – not required
