    The Territory Sales manager (TM) will hold the overall responsibility for the selling of the diabetes portfolio and achieving sales targets in line with the Ireland Sales and marketing strategy. This is a strategic account development role identifying and liaising with key decision makers and influencers. The TM will be required to work closely with the Technical consultant and District Sales Manager to ensure successful business growth in the defined Territory, North of Scotland and Glasgow.

    A Day in the Life

    • Responsible for the overall selling and promotion of the diabetes product portfolio, ensuring meticulous execution of agreed activities.
    • Design and development of innovative local implementation plans to shape partnerships with key local stakeholders.
    • Identify and maximize broader customer relationships with multiple stakeholders allowing development of key decision makers and influencers within the territory
    • Work closely with all key business functions to partner and overcome capacity barriers to grow business in targeted accounts.
    • Development and implementation of business plans to expand the growth in this sector using innovation and experienced sales knowledge.
    • Develop and influence key decision making criteria in favor of Medtronic therapies, including resolution of risks and concerns
    • Basic proficiency health-economics, reimbursement and tender processes, with potential to influence key decision maker criteria for impactful outcomes
    • Sets strategic, fiscal year objectives and quarterly action plans for key accounts
    • Use key reports/data to analyze territory/ account performance, plan calls and manage overall territory strategy
    • Understand, comply with Medtronic policies and serve as an ambassador for Medtronic with internal/external stakeholders in multiple settings
    • Candidates should be willing to take on the added responsibility and projects that come with managing the flagship territory
    • Candidates will have responsibility to help roll out new business platforms

    Must Haves

    • Bachelor or Masters degree
    • Sales experience in medical/pharmaceutical/biotech industry
    • Willingness and ability to travel Clean driving record
    • Strong business acumen, analytical and selling skills

    • Interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
    • Enthusiastic, driven, innovative approach to business
