At Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains we offer a 2 year Quality Engineering programme which will tap into your passion and determination to win, giving you a real opportunity to contribute to our success story. In Manufacturing we face the challenge of turning engineering designs into precision components that must meet specification, on time.
The role
As a Quality Engineering Graduate you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to every stage of the manufacturing cycle on a portfolio of components; from concept (design), manufacture and then, finally, quality inspection. You will be challenged to provide innovative solutions to real manufacturing problems via a data led approach which will provide a broader knowledge of manufacturing and quality principles. The rotation plan will provide exposure to manufacturing techniques like: Turning, milling, grinding, EDM, surface treatment and heat treatment. The subsequent inspection of these operations will provide exposure to quality inspection techniques like: First principle measurement, Co-ordinate machine measurement, non-contact vision systems, CT/X-Ray, Nondestructive testing and surface profile/form measurement.

We offer the opportunity to work in a state of the art Research and Development Centre, being involved in exciting technological challenges alongside some of Formula 1’s best engineers, with the autonomy to engineer solutions from a clean sheet.
