How you’ll play your part
In this role, you will support the MBFS UK finance team with financial statements and audits. You will have the opportunity to learn from others in finance and develop the role depending on your personal interests. The role is great for someone wishing to take a career in accountancy.
Main accountabilities
- Responsible for carrying out varied tasks to ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial data.
- Undertake a number of reconciliation’s related to the company accounts to ensure statutory and company month-end reporting deadlines are met.
- Involvement in the creation of the company’s financial statements.
- Supporting a number of audit requests and supporting the team with ad-hoc tasks.
- Supporting the Accounting Services team by monitoring, investigating and resolving aged items and issues on third party accounts receivable/accounts payable.
- Assist in the quarterly design and testing of internal compliance systems within the financial accounting department.
- Responsible for setting up suppliers and liaising with the Business to provide support, resolve queries and request any additional information required.
About you
- Good knowledge of Excel
- SAP - good knowledge would be advantageous but training will be given
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve results whilst promoting company behavioural values
- Flexible and able to multi-task to meet specified deadlines
- A strong team player with the ability to learn tasks quickly and make appropriate decisions.
- Possess analytical, investigative, and strong reconciliation skills.
- Possess good time-management skills, with own responsibility for planning and prioritising workload the majority of the time
- Effective communicator to Finance and non-Finance staff of all levels.
