The role
As a Finance Assistant, your role will entail:
- Purchase Order Management process - from receiving PO requests to PO reception (SAP)
- Ensure the internal teams are following the company PO procedures
- Supplier process – controlling new supplier setup process ensuring all required documentation is received and saved, creation of new suppliers records and maintaining profiles
- Handles vendors correspondence via phone or email
- Expenses process management – overseeing all types of expenses incurred by employees including credit cards, cash expenses and travel platform
- Receives, and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning PO and account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies
- Assist in helping with month end process
- Assist in ad-hoc requests
About you
You will be proactive and curious and have excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. You will be an effective, open and collaborative team-player, passionate about continuous learning with the below experience:
- Accounts payable or general accounting experience (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills and proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Open to change and willing to learn new skills
- SAP experience (desirable but not essential)
Qualifications
- A degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred
- Relevant certifications or professional qualifications are a plus (e.g. CIMA, AAT, ACCA);
