    Responsibilities

    Technical Program Managers (TPMs) are the in-house advocates for millions of people worldwide who predict and research how software is used and work closely with Software Engineers (SWEs) to ensure our products exceed people's expectations.

    TPMs are typically responsible for specific features in our technology solutions for the full product cycle. You work on the initial feature planning and design, manage the specifications of their development, and monitor their on-going operation to better understand customer experiences. You work collaboratively with teammates to ensure our products exceed customer expectations. You will need to communicate broadly across the team to understand and provide clarity using a data driven approach on progress towards delivery, technical challenges, and customer needs.

    As a Technical Program Manager, you are dedicated to building software to empower every person and organization on the planet to achieve more, through the following:

    • Research market trends, industry technical directions and customer needs
    • Define clear and detailed feature requirements and plans in conjunction with your PM colleagues and Engineering teams
    • Ensure our products deliver compelling role-specific user experiences for our customers
    • Track progress towards delivery and required engineering standards

    Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in computer science, engineering or a numerate discipline with at least one semester/quarter remaining after internship (required)
    • Strong written and verbal communication of complex topics to both expert and novice audiences, in English (required)
    • Ability to demonstrate understanding of software engineering fundamentals and managing complex projects to completion
    • Demonstrated skills in negotiation and conflict management
