    This Infrastructure Technology team leverages advanced technology that enables the firm to run our business. Working in small teams, specialists provide the computing hardware, software, network resources and services that enable the firm to process over two million trades per day. Interns within Infrastructure will have a chance to work on platforms such as the Firm’s networks, operating systems mobile applications and other end-user applications.

    We are looking for interns to perform the below job responsibilities in the following areas of Infrastructure Technology:

    Information/Cyber Security

    • Automate and script tasks and tools to be used by analysts and engineers
    • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and other infrastructure such as Firewalls, Proxies, DNS, Wi-Fi, and others.
    • Development, and scripting skills required (Python, BASH scripting, Powershell, other)
    • Support a team of specialists in delivering security technologies including: vulnerability scanning, password vault, intrusion detection and others
    • Contribute to the Information Security Wiki in order to develop a platform for engineering and operations collaboration
    • Organize, visualize, and analyze infosec datasets to glean insights, spot trends and suggest process improvements
    • Collect and report on metrics to track progress/completion of tasks
    • Technical Skills – Unix, AWS, Jenkins, Wireshark, Elastic/Kibana, Tableau/Grafana/PowerBI
    • Familiarity with hardening standards related to Network devices such as SANS, CIS, and others

    Network Services: Network Engineering

    • Work in a team based environment to design and implement networks across the enterprise.
    • Assist in complex design projects routing and switching across critical infrastructure. Create production documentation and network diagrams.
    • Test and POC cutting edge technology for evaluation and potential use in the firm.
    • Deploy and test remote office networks, Wifi, Meraki VPN, firewalls and F5 load balancers.
    • Maintain and support network product life cycle management
    • Leverage programming skills to automate repeatable tasks and implementation steps.

    Network Services: Network Reliability Engineering

    • Design and develop network and firewall automation workflows, scripts and tools
    • Work in an agile environment to deliver high impact solutions. Maintain internal github and network repo.
    • Perform research and discovery on industry tools and build versus buy
    • Collaborate with network and technology teams to automate deployment and daily operations task.
    • Assist in refining network monitoring, actionable alerting, logging and observability.
    • Experiencing with scripting and programming languages such as Python, Ansible and Bash.

    Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

    • Students in their penultimate year who are interested in a future career at a top-tier alternative asset financial services firm
    • Minimum of 2:1 grade or higher
    • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or other Technology focused areas preferred
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Hardworking and strives to drive continuous improvement
    • Strong oral and written communication skills with high attention to detail
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and analytical skills
    • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a time sensitive environment
    • Strong technical skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • (For Software Development) Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as (C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.)
    • (For Software Development) Knowledge of SQL preferred
    • (For Infrastructure Technology) Proficiency in one or more scripting languages preferred
