The Role
Our summer intern programme is for candidates at under-graduate level. We are looking for students with strong academic achievements, who are highly motivated and have an interest in pursuing a career in financial markets. Over the course of the 10-week programme, you will gain an insight into the day-to-day activities within core infrastructure departments and how they support the wider business. The internship will afford true hands-on experience with real job responsibilities in a fast-paced and supportive work environment. We offer software engineering internships in the following areas within Technology: Corporate Tech, Equities Tech & Fixed Income & Risk Technology. We are also hiring into our Infrastructure Technology team. Please review the description of each division below and apply for a maximum of 2 positions.
Depending on the Technology team you join, you will work on projects like these:
- Develop innovative research and trading tools that Portfolio Managers will use to explore new ideas.
- Development of trading infrastructure and monitoring applications
- Automate the creation of end to end trading environments in AWS
- Building out a market leading electronic trading platform
- Buildout the Trade messaging and associated data platforms using Kafka/Solace and Redis/Hazelcast
