    As an IT intern within our technology and innovation team, you will have the opportunity to develop your understanding of the role of IT within a corporate setting. You will work within a team of Technical Support Analysts who ensure a high quality of IT services to our business, and who work to optimise Miller’s IT infrastructure.

    You will have the opportunity to advance your knowledge of modern Microsoft technology platforms, including Azure, Office 365 Administration, and Microsoft Admin Centres. In addition, you will develop knowledge of platforms for filtering messaging, internet traffic, and device endpoint protection.

    The role

    As an IT intern, you will provide 1st & 2nd line technical support to over 700 internal staff,  working with applications and systems to undertake analysis, diagnosis and resolution of technical problems.

    • You will be working with colleagues across our business to manage calls, queries and support requests.
    • You will learn to troubleshoot IT issues and provide technical IT support.
    • Throughout your internship with us, you can expect to be involved in hardware and software projects, with real responsibility to enable successful delivery of services to enable our Miller colleagues, and make a positive impact.

    We are looking for

    • An enthusiastic, personable and organised individual with a real interest in IT, to apply this skill-set within the insurance industry
    • An aptitude for working with applications/systems, to undertake analysis, diagnosis and resolution of technical problems
    • Research skills and an analytical mindset, with excellent attention to detail
    • You should be on track for a 2.1 or above in Computer Networks, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar; and be within your penultimate or final year at university
