    We are looking for an organised and driven Estimator to join our commercial team and support the accurate pricing of tenders across our construction and subcontracting operations. Working across brickwork, scaffolding, and specialist works, youll be a key contributor to our pre-construction success and project pipeline.

    This role is ideal for someone with estimating experience in construction or a graduate looking to build a commercial career in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

    Key responsibilities

    • Support the full tender process from initial enquiry to submission
    • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and client requirements
    • Prepare cost breakdowns for labour, materials, and scaffolding
    • Collaborate with commercial, site, and operations teams to gather key inputs
    • Maintain and update pricing databases and tender records
    • Produce well-presented tender documentation and cover letters
    • Log and track tender progress, outcomes, and revisions
    • Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
    • Once a tender is awarded, prepare full site set up to pass on to Quantity Surveying team.

    About you

    • Experience in construction estimating OR a graduate from a relevant degree discipline
    • Understanding of construction processes and ability to interpret drawings
    • Basic CAD experience or confidence with digital drawing tools (desirable)
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to check your own work
    • Confidence with mathematics and numerical reasoning
    • Organised and able to meet deadlines consistently
    • Proactive mindset with excellent teamwork and communication skills
    • Confident using Excel; experience with estimating software is a bonus
    • Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibilityPreferred Qualifications
    • HND / BSc in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
    • Construction-related commercial experience
    • Good GCSEs/A-Levels including Maths and English
    • Graduate applicants welcome full training and mentoring provided
