This position sits in within the beyond the core platform of the global chocolate technology organization, based in Bournville, UK. The role initially will be working on technologies to deliver elevated consumer experiences. The team comprises members from both the Bournville and Thane R&D centres.
Working as part of a cross functional team, you deliver the RDQ activities required to complete new product/technology development, validation and testing with an emphasis on meeting the desired consumer experience.
How you will contribute
With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements and development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation etc.). You will also write technical reports that will require the analysis and interpretation of results and that lead to conclusions and recommendations and create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications.

This role primarily focuses on identifying, testing, improving & validating technology and delivering elevated delightful experience to our consumers.
This primary element of role is to have strong learning agility, curiosity, proactiveness, and a good level of comfort with technology, including digital tools and machinery/equipment.
Projects can vary from research, market analysis, pilot trials or testing at supplier end and commercialisation and may require significant guidance from the manager or other technical experts.

- Demonstrated first experience of practical application of theory in Food or engineering / scientific related discipline
