About the role
The Graphics and Clients Presentations department plays a key role at Mondrian, producing thousands of internal and external reports, marketing books, and presentations.
You will be a bridge between the numbers and telling their story, taking large and often complex datasets, and turning them into clear, simple, and insightful visualisations and infographics, before creating and putting them into marketing collateral.
Key Purpose of Job:
- The creation and production of client review books and marketing documents, to Mondrian’s corporate style
- Production of a wide variety of presentations and documents for internal and external use, to Mondrian’s corporate style
Responsibilities:
- Creating, updating and amending of client/marketing review books and any other documents or presentations. Checking that the information is accurate and up-to-date – and where it is not, chasing for the latest data
- Ensure all work produced is of a high standard and follows Mondrian’s corporate style
- Check that output is accurately delivered within required deadlines
- Ensuring work is efficiently filed electronically (along with related data, PDFs and images) following the Graphics file naming convention, with file names included on the finished output
- Updating of monthly and quarterly currency charts
- Maintaining documents for staff welcome packs, org charts
- Sharing work with Philadelphia graphics team
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will possess a rare blend of skills, being able to understand the insights generated by large amounts of data, combined with a creative eye and the design skills to visually represent it in a simple but effective way.
Specific requirements:
- A strong numerical mindset and comfortable working with large datasets
- Knowledge of design software including InDesign (essential), Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & Acrobat, as well as Microsoft Office tools
- Confident and proactive with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Able to collaborate and communicate efficiently and effectively within a team
- Prior experience designing infographics is highly desirable
- An interest in investment management or the wider financial industry would be beneficial
