    Are you a current university student looking for a placement year where you can dive into the world of data and analytics? Join our Data & Analytics team at Moore Kingston Smith and gain hands-on experience in transforming data into actionable insights for decision-making.

    You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of data & analytics activities, including experience with tools like Power BI, Python, and Microsoft Fabric. You’ll gain insight into how a data-driven organisation operates, whilst having the opportunity to work on impactful projects with real-world applications.

    Your role will vary, but responsibilities may include:

    Data Governance

    • Supporting the creation and maintenance of data policies and procedures.
    • Assisting in monitoring data integrity and compliance with regulations.
    • Collaborating on data quality improvement initiatives.

    Data Engineering & Architecture

    • Working with our team to build and maintain scalable data pipelines.
    • Assisting in organising and managing datasets for reporting and analysis.
    • Exploring cloud-based data platforms, such as Microsoft Fabric.

    Insights & Analysis

    • Supporting the team in building Power BI dashboards and reports.
    • Conducting exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and patterns.
    • Helping to present clear, actionable insights to stakeholders.

    Business Analysis

    • Engaging directly with the business to understand their data challenges.
    • Assisting in designing user-centric data solutions.
    • Participating in brainstorming sessions to improve business processes.

    In order to be eligible for the programme, you will also need to:

    • Have obtained at least 112 UCAS points from three A-Levels, or equivalent qualifications
    • Be on track to achieve a 2:2 or above, from a degree in any discipline
    • Be available and permitted to work in the UK, from the start date of the programme
