    Opportunities

    We are looking for a Junior Technical Designer, who is wanting to move into a graduate design position. The role will report to the Head of Design and would be responsible for supporting and learning from the design team. This would include:

    • Learn to produce technical design and working drawings for specific projects.
    • Assist with written specifications to support technical design.
    • Assist site surveys and dimensional surveys as required.
    • Liaise and coordinate with supply chain regarding design detailing to ensure buildability.
    • Liaise and coordinate with all Statutory Approvals (Building Control, Fire Authorities and Planning) to ensure full compliance.
    • Support other design team members with the project design. Coordinate and work closely with other team members and subcontractors.
    • Work within internal CAD procedures on all projects.
    • Support with generating As Built technical drawings as required. Ensure all completed projects in relation to CAD information are stored correctly for future use.
    • Liaise and agree timescales to produce working drawings
    • Attend project and team meetings (including on site meetings) as required and co-ordinate as necessary

    This role will be part of our Foundation Programme (early careers programme).

    The Foundation Programme provides a rounded perspective of our business via additional training and mentoring. It is important to get to know us, our people and how we work.

    The programme is driven by a structured training curriculum designed to develop business, technical and behavioural skills. The training sessions give a deeper understanding of how we operate as a business. Additionally, you gain responsibility as part of the team, build your network whilst receiving the necessary developmental support.

    Upon completion of the Foundation Programme, you will go on to develop and grow your career with us – the development and progression opportunities do not start or end with the programme.

    Qualifications required

    • BA Interior Design or;
    • BA Interior Architecture or;
    • BSc Architectural Technology
