    About the scheme

You’ll become the go-to person for anyone looking to improve processes or find insight into many of our business areas. Make data-led decisions that have a real difference, all while earning a starting salary of £28,000.

    What’s involved?

    Throughout the 2-year scheme, you’ll gain exposure to all the different areas of the business and work alongside teams that are responsible for improving our insight and driving our success. The work you do will have a real-world impact, making improvements every day. You’ll need to be great with data as you’ll work with it day in, and day out. Day-to-day, you could be:

    • Finding solutions to business challenges using data and analytics
    • Improving the efficiency of processes throughout the business
    • Minimising waste within our manufacturing sites and stores
    • Improving our sales and service through customer insights

    Our structured training and working on exciting projects mean you’ll have plenty of opportunities to progress and learn from experienced industry professionals. By the end of the programme, you’ll progress into the Data and Insight Team as a Data Scientist.

    What you’ll need to join us

    We are food makers and shop keepers, and together, we make Morrisons. We’re looking for graduates who have the ability to manipulate data to solve problems, have a drive to succeed and an analytical, structured approach. You need to be a great communicator with strong listening skills and the ability to build relationships with a diverse team of people. Candidates also need a minimum 2:1 in Data Science, Maths, Physics, Electronic/Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and a full UK driving licence. Other key qualities we’d like to see include:
