    About the scheme

    With 17 sites across the country, we’re the UK’s second largest fresh food manufacturer, providing top-quality food and the freshest produce to our customers. You’ll work alongside our skilled colleagues in all areas of our fast-paced manufacturing sites to gain hands-on experience. You can learn all about our unique manufacturing capabilities that make us stand out in the world of retail, whilst earning a starting salary of £28,000.

    What’s involved?

    Throughout the 2-year scheme, you’ll experience different teams across several manufacturing sites, developing new skills and learning about driving efficiencies in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be motivating colleagues, developing leadership skills and working on live projects to simplify and improve our processes. Day-to-day, you could be:

    • Controlling the movement of finished goods stock to ensure all items are accounted for
    • Producing fresh food to send out to our stores and providing our customers with the very best
    • Ensuring production is running efficiently and identifying new ways to improve it

    Our structured training and the chance to work on exciting projects means you’ll have plenty of opportunities to progress and learn while with us. By the end of the programme, you will be ready to move into a Team or Shift Manager position, leading as many as 50 people.

    What you’ll need to join us 

    We are food makers and shop keepers, and together, we make Morrisons. We’re looking for graduates who have a real passion for food, its quality and safety, a drive to succeed and can lead and influence those around them. You need to be a great communicator with strong listening skills and the ability to build relationships with a diverse team of people. Candidates also need a minimum 2:2 in any degree subject and a full UK driving licence. There is the possibility you will be asked to relocate to other sites to progress your career, so flexibility is required. Other key qualities we’d like to see include:
