    About the role

    In this role, you'll have the chance to work with our experienced security professionals, gaining valuable insights into identity and access management while actively contributing to our organisation's security and compliance efforts.

    Throughout your placement, you'll be a vital member of our IAM team, actively involved in the management of identities, access controls, and security. Your role will centre on ensuring both our internal and external stakeholders enjoy secure and seamless access to essential resources.

    You will be paired with an experienced team member who will provide guidance and support throughout your placement.     Annually, we run a 12-month placement year programme comprised of three pillars: the job, learning and development, and ‘the project’.

    Our programmes go above and beyond just the day job. You’ll be gaining valuable experience in your chosen business area while also being given the space and opportunity to challenge yourself and develop your skills.

    Minimum criteria

    • You’ll need to be an undergraduate on track to gain a minimum 2:1 degree to qualify for this Placement Programme.
    • Familiarity with IAM tools and technologies such as Active Directory, LDAP, or IAM solutions like Saviynt, SailPoint or Okta.
    • Understanding of access control principles, role-based access control (RBAC), and security best practices.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations, troubleshoot issues, and devise effective solutions.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Great problem-solving skills to proactively address IAM challenges.
