An Opportunity to join Buildings Services team within in London and Southeast Division within the Building and Cities Unit, successful candidate will join an established and growing building services team, to work on many prestigious projects in UK and overseas in rail, aviation and health, sports or residential, etc.
The role will be principally based in Mott MacDonald Croydon office with flexing working subject to agreement.
What you'll do
Day to day activities will involve but not limited to:
- To undertake and develop the design of building services electrical systems to support design proposals from concept to detail design stages, including:
- Undertaking design calculations eg. cable sizing, lighting calculations, maximum load demands, etc.
- Undertake space proofing and equipment selection
- Developing design reports, specifications, and equipment schedules, etc.
- Undertake design risk and impact assessments
- Undertake coordination with Public Health drainage, structural and architectural sub-disciplines.
- Attend internal and external meetings and report design progress to project management within the agreed programme
- Ensure compliance with construction (design and management) regulations and HSE.
- Digital capable and work in BIM and 3D modelling environment

To be eligible for this opportunity, you will have less than 12 months relevant experience and have a degree or are expected to achieve one of the following degree disciplines:
- Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering
- Building Services Engineering - Electrical
