    The role

    Our consultants work with public and private sector organisations enabling them to achieve better outcomes for the people that they serve and to achieve efficient and effective working. We help streamline project and programme delivery, equipping organisations with the right strategy, plans and implementation roadmap to attain and sustain success.

    You’ll be working as part of a dynamic Global Health team alongside other experienced professionals. Learning about our structure and culture, you’ll constantly be exposed to real and exciting projects. Our graduate management consultants are involved in various project phases so you will gain vital on-the-job experience through our vast range of technical expertise.

    Key roles and responsibilities:

    • Contribute to a wide variety of health and healthcare focused assignments. Involvement may include (but not be limited to):
      • Stakeholder engagement
      • Desk based research
      • Data collection and analysis
      • Report writing
      • Presentations and workshops.
    • Contribute to winning new opportunities including contributing to proposals.
    • Develop knowledge of the health and care sector and public policy relating to this area. Active interest in understanding and sharing developments in this sector.
    • Contribute to the operations of the Global Health team, for example completing timesheets and tracker tools, contributing to team meetings.
    • Personal and professional development, including opportunities through the Graduate Scheme.

    Candidate specification

    The successful candidate must be able to possess and demonstrate the following skills and personal attributes:

    • Some post graduate experience and have achieved a 2:1 or above in a relevant health or business related discipline.
    • Methodical approach to problem solving.
    • Ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
    • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members.
    • Excellent written communication and attention to detail, and be able to demonstrate accurate report writing.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
    • Integrity in their work.
    • Motivation, enthusiasm and commitment for the role.
    • Ability to work as part of a team and individually.

    About the business unit 

    The Buildings and Cities Unit (BNC) has a major presence in Mott MacDonald's regional offices throughout the UK and mainland Europe, providing a wide range of diverse and transferable cross-sector skills across five key Sectors; Advisory, Built Environment, Energy, Transportation and Water. We also provide local services to customers and technical leadership to the rest of the Group in these sectors.
