This role will be based in London on office based working arrangement.
As part of the Clinical Research team, you will work as trainee Clinical Trial Co-Ordinator: a. Providing office-based support to the teams that work on our company clinical programs in the UK & ROI b. The opportunity to conduct field visits at trial sites based in the UK under supervision. Throughout your twelve months here, you will be given the opportunity to gain a full insight into the principles and practices of a Clinical Research Department within a global company. Working in a professional and friendly environment, you will support the members of our study teams, whilst developing your knowledge and practical skills in setting up and conducting clinical trials. Experiences will include field visits to our trial sites and training on our clinical management systems and processes.
Duties
- Work on assigned project(s) under supervision
- Understand, develop and manage study documents relating to regulatory and ethics submissions • Generate study budgets and review payments
- Field visits to trial Sites under supervision
- Participate in department level events such as Department and Townhall meetings and visits by internal or external guests Technical Specifications
Requirements
- You will be looking to complete a 12-month student internship as part of your undergraduate degree
- Studying a degree in Biomedical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related life sciences discipline (Studied A-Levels in Biology and Chemistry (or equivalent qualification)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrates an appreciation of current topics in clinical research and clinical trial conduct Qualities we look for • Demonstrates strong organisational skills
