The Role
The Digital Operations and Systems (DOS) and the Data Enablement (DE) teams work jointly to equip our company with the necessary digital tools and capabilities to generate data and insights enabling the business to make informed decisions and drive business success, all while upholding ethical and responsible data practices.
The successful candidate will work across both the DOS and DE teams for 12 months and will play a key role in bridging the gap between digital channels utilisation and data insights generation, analysis and visualization
Responsibilities:
- Support and manage project involving new and current digital channels and innovations within the company
- Support online and mobile marketing initiatives (such as Search Engine Optimisation) across the UK business in line with our promotional and corporate strategies
- Make tactical marketing recommendations to the business using digital data and customer insights
- Collaborating with team members to provide expert technical support for data management and analysis.
- Contributing to data management and analysis projects, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Assisting with the design and implementation of data enablement strategies and solutions.
- Developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and documentation related to data enablement.
- Conducting data privacy impact assessments and data protection impact assessments.
- Contributing to the development of data visualizations and dashboards.
- Providing technical support and training for end-users of data enablement tools and solutions.
- Supporting data science projects by assisting in the design and development of machine learning models, predictive analytics, and other data science applications.
- Make tactical marketing recommendations to the business using digital data and customer insights.
- Lead on team communications - producing monthly internal infographics and newsletters.
- Embrace Agile ways of working by taking on a Scrum Master role for the Digital Channels Team and best practices across teams.
Requirements
- You will be looking to complete a 12-month student internship as part of your undergraduate degree
- Ideally you will be studying a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, computer science, data science or a Business based discipline (or equivalent qualification)
- Demonstrates understanding of Marketing fundamentals.
- Knowledge of data management software, or a coding language such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
