We are currently recruiting for Process Quaility Engineer Trainees to join our business, to be able to work with the Central Engineering Team, delivering continuous improvement across all Yorgurts and Dessert fuctions with a home location of Market Drayton or surround area
As a Process Quaility Engineer Trainees you will have exposure to multiple sites, support functions and key stakeholders, focussing on Process and Utilities, but also including Project Management, Automation and Asset Lifecycle Management as areas of development. We will provide you with on the job training and by helping you build on your breadth of knowledge, this role could be an ideal pathway into future senior managerial positions within the Company.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Process equipment operation and design using knowledge to maximise efficiency and reduce wastage
- Utility equipment operation and design using knowledge to maximise efficiency and reduce losses
- Develop a broad understanding of Muller Project Invest processes and skills required for effective Project Management. The importance of milestone planning, budget creation and scope development to ensure effective project delivery for the customer
- Develop a broad understanding of the importance of asset life cycle management. This will include Early Equipment Management and the importance of designing for quality, operability and maintainability for all new investments. Once in operation, the importance of designing an effective planned and autonomous maintenance programme will be understood ensuring our assets are performing to the highest level for the minimal cost
Key Skills and Experience:
- Eden Apprenticeship or suitable degree qualification within Chemical Engineering or Procoss Engineering
- Good understanding of dairy processing
- Basic knowledge of leading a team
- Excellent communicator both verbal and written with strong problem solving skills
