    We are looking for a tech-savvy intern with a passion for Cloud services to join our IT team this summer, and potentially fall. As a student worker, you will get the opportunity to participate in all phases of the software life cycle. You will be responsible for building a proof of concept for an API gateway that not only relays requests to other APIs from multiple vendors, but also enables AWS services to provide a consistent and efficient experience. You will join one of our software engineering teams and gain valuable, practical hands-on experience while working in a highly collaborative, and creative work environment.

    What you will do

    • Design and develop a proof of concept for an API gateway using AWS services.
    • Integrate multiple vendor APIs into the gateway, ensuring seamless interoperability.
    • Use AWS features to enhance the gateway's performance and reliability.
    • Maintain a consistent interface and user experience across different platforms.
    • Document and evaluate the development process

    What you will bring

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a focus on cloud computing.
    • Knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture.
    • Proficiency in API development and management.
    • Strong coding skills in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team setting.
