    Getting your first job after graduating is hard. How can you compete with 1000s of other graduates who all have good grades?

    A paid 12-month placement at the National Composites Centre (NCC) will help.

    The is an opportunity to work alongside composite experts and gain experience in a field that is the future of engineering. You’ll be working on a live project for customers such as Airbus, Vestas and GKN. You could be contributing to a huge aerospace programme or helping to improve the sustainability of composites.

    As a placement student, you'll join one of our capability teams. You’ll also get to mix with our graduate research engineers and hopefully want to come back and join them after graduation.

    We're looking for proactive students who want to learn. The year will fly by, so you need to make the most of your time here. Whatever you achieve with us, you can expect to be supported by the team around you and return to university with a wealth of new knowledge.

    We’re open to applications from all years of study in relevant engineering and science degrees.
