Picture this – it’s 2025, and you’ve just completed your final rotation on the NCC’s grad scheme. You joined the NCC thinking that you would be a design engineer but now you’re leading a major project on our sustainability programme. You’ve just discovered who you are as an engineer.
About the role
For some people, 2 years of shadowing someone and going through the motions of career development will be enough. These aren’t NCC people.
Our objective is to develop you into a well-rounded composite engineer who can choose to specialise in their preferred area. It takes a certain type of person to make the most of this opportunity. If you’re proactive and want to take charge of your career this could be you.

To join us, you’ll need to have a minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant or applicable subject such as material science, mechanical engineering, product design or textile technology.
The Details
The NCC’s graduate programme lasts for 2 years. During this time you’ll have four x 6 month rotations This ensures you get experience in Design, Make, Evaluate and Project Management. The rotations are supported by a structured training programme consisting of both technical and personal development courses.
There is also an option to join as a direct entry graduate giving you the opportunity to develop within a specific area of the business.
