    National Grid Ventures (NGV) is the business area which focuses on Interconnectors, in addition to many other energy ventures. Interconnectors play a key part of the UK’s energy industry, connecting us to our neighbouring countries and providing sustainable, flexible energy transmission. As such, their full and safe operation is vital to the UK and for the business. This role is at the heart of the Net Zero Carbon target. The Development Engineer plays a fundamental technical role in ensuring that our assets are appropriately invested in to maintain the highest level of operational and safety performance.

    What you'll need

    • To be considered for this role you'll need to have/be on track to achieve a 2.2 degree in either Engineering, Business, Finance, or a Numerical subject

    What you'll get

    You will receive a starting salary of£29,254 (or 30,318 f you hold a Masters) and a £2000 joining bonus.
