We have our Junior Treasury Analyst role which will help you to build your career in Treasury. You may not know much about what Treasury professionals do but don`t worry I`ll explain what it looks like to have a career in Treasury at National Grid Gas Transmission.

Treasury management is a rewarding, exciting and varied career that helps shape the future of our financial strategy. As our Junior Treasury Analyst, you’ll have the great opportunity to get exposure to the range of Treasury areas. Your day-to-day role will vary: part of your role will be supporting the Treasury Operations with managing Treasury payments and dealing with bank reconciliation activities. You’ll also provide support to Treasury Risk Management teams with system administration and reports.

No previous experience is required. You’ll have a degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Computer Science or any subject in Science. You’ll be analytical and enjoy dealing with numbers. You pay attention to the details; as far as you’re concerned, anything worth doing is worth doing well. You stay focused and nothing falls through the cracks on your watch. You don’t need to have any Finance/Treasury qualifications, but if you’re interested in advancing though your qualification studies we’re happy to support with education fees.

It’s not just a job we offer you here, we offer you a career too. We’ll give you a range of experience and skills to drive your career forward.

We have a range of benefits that reward your great work. Your starting salary will be over £30K, together with a bonus scheme and a generous holiday allowance.

As a quick FYI, this is a hybrid role. You’ll be looking at 2 or 3 days in our Warwick office per week. I’m happy to chat about suitable arrangements around you, if required.
