As an intern reporting to a senior analyst at Natixis, you will be involved in supporting various aspects of credit risk management for a diverse portfolio of counterparties trading with us. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the initial and ongoing assessment of the creditworthiness of counterparties through financial analysis & internal credit rating.
- Providing support in making recommendations on the size and tenor of credit limits for approval.
- Assisting in performing annual credit reviews for counterparties in the assigned portfolio.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders in the business, coverage, legal, middle office, and risk.
- Assisting in regular portfolio analysis, monitoring, and reporting.
Required skills, qualifications and experience
- Degree qualified or currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with accounting and/or financial statements is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English.
