    To join one of our 12-month Internships you will be:

    • Currently be studying at University and applying for a Placement year in your 2nd or final year or graduating in Summer 2024
    • Looking for work experience immediately after completing A-Levels or equivalent course or an Apprenticeship
    • Eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from Monday 1st July 2024- Friday 18th July 2025

    What will I be doing?

    We are recruiting a number of PR Interns across International Networks & Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) teams & our Universal Pictures EMEA Publicity team. The interns will be responsible for the promotion of our channel brands and content across EMEA and International.

    Key tasks include:

    • Asset Management: sourcing and cataloguing assets for key programming and then sharing materials with local teams and clients
    • Press Materials: compile press kits, develop publicity ideas, ad hoc drafting of press releases
    • Talent: assist with organisation of talent interviews and press junkets
    • Coverage: archiving and sharing of all press coverage, preparing coverage reports as needed

    What do I need to bring to the role?

    1. Interest in Entertainment & Media, with a desire to pursue a career in PR
    2. Highly organised, skilled at multi-tasking and prioritising workload, with the initiative to follow up on projects and be proactive
    3. Enthusiastic attitude, a proactive approach, a resourceful aptitude, a team player with great interpersonal skills
    4. Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
    5. Good eye for detail, design and copy checking skills

    What will I learn from this opportunity?

    • Collaborate with the local comms teams to maximise publicity for channel/programming in each territory
    • Manage the collation and distribution of PR assets to the local comms teams including images, press releases, synopsis, screeners etc
    • Assist with talent access, helping to organise and execute email, phone and video interviews, as well as press junkets (both virtual & in person) and set visits
    • Monitoring and evaluation of coverage/campaigns
