If you’re looking for an exciting yet challenging career, this is the place for you. Our graduate program runs for 18 months in which you'll learn the core skills of design products whilst supporting the existing experienced team.
You'll work closely with the designers on their design processes and whilst they guide you in creating your first products for the company. You’ll be exposed to the entire end to end journey of the product, from researching competitor’s products all the way to supporting the content team list the product on the website.
The role
The quality of our products is our number one priority, and the product design team is the most pivotal departments of the business where no two days are the same. We promise for this to be a tough but rewarding 12 months, and here’s some of what it will entail:
- Set in depth design specifications based on briefs from internal teams and external partners.
- Contribute to the development of new product concepts and ideas that align with user needs and preferences, as well as business objectives.
- Create design concepts and drawings utilising 3D modelling software to bring products to life.
- Participate in design critiques and feedback sessions with more experienced product design team members to improve design skills and to receive constructive criticism.
- Develop the ability to use the 3D printer to create accurate concepts.
- Communicate with manufacturers to create high quality prototypes.
- Gather feedback from product users and communicate changes and improvements to manufactures.
- Ensure products go through appropriate tests and real-life use scenarios to ensure they are consumer ready.
- Attend product installations as required to experience our range of products and build products for testing.
- Supporting product design team members with administrative tasks, such as organizing design files, creating parts lists, creating SKU’s/BOM’s for products.
- Other essential tasks such as liaise with the written/visual content team, create box designs, writing product spec sheets and creating part numbers.
What you'll need to show us
- Good IT skills - practical knowledge of any CAD packages, Adobe Creative Suite and rendering packages.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, while always maintaining a sharp attention to detail.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday - we offer flexible working hours which can be discussed in the interview.
This role is based in our Wrexham office, full-time. We're unable to offer remote-working and require a quick start so we're unable to consider applications outside of the UK.
