The role

Due to company progression, a new position has become available for a Digital Accounting Assistant to join New Balance to support in ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation and to support in identify any potential process gaps, control issues and fraud.

Marketplace Ecommerce Accounting

  • Responsible for the Reconciliation of all Transactions within the ERP & Payment platforms for multiple Marketplaces across the UK & EU
  • Marketplace Commission Reconciliations
  • OMNI Reconciliations – including Buy Online Return/Pick up In Store
  • Marketplace discount invoice Reconciliation
  • Deal with Digital Ecommerce & Marketplace queries/disputes, liaising with internal departments to reach a timely & efficient solution.
  • Responding to 3rd party & internal Digital Customer Service Teams regarding payment/refund queries
  • Support on Audit
  • Investigate OMNI & Marketplace variances and discrepancies.

Month End Reporting

  • Timely provision of data to assist with Monthly Marketplace and OMNI accruals.
  • Calculation & Posting of Monthly Accruals relating to Commission, Fees & Goodwill relating to Marketplace Partners
  • Update and provide commentary on Monthly Marketplace & Ecommerce Tracker

Digital Project Support

  • Support Digital Accounting Manager and wider Digital Team on any new and ongoing projects.
  • Attending regular project calls
  • Support testing of Digital project implementations

Requirements

  • Experience working within a busy/fast paced Finance team.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Data Driven Analyst
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivots/Vlookups)
  • Solution minded, with a Growth mindset and able to adapt well to change.
  • Ability to develop and build good customer relations both internally & externally.
  • Able to organise & prioritise own workload and work to tight deadlines.
  • Full or part AAT Qualified (Desirable)
