    Role Description

    As a student placement in the Product and Commercial function, you will be working closely with all team members focusing on savings, mortgages and risk. You will support in all elements of product management to ensure we deliver good outcomes for our members and the Society.To do this you will also engage with teams across our business including finance, balance sheet management, treasury and risk, in addition to our wider customer team, which brings a great opportunity to build your network and gain exposure to senior management across the business.

    With the support of your manager and mentor, you will have objectives to work towards to make sure you are developing during your time with us. You will have exposure to the responsibilities of wider team by supporting projects and tasks in the department.

    About You

    • You will need to have successfully completed the second year of your studies and intend to return to University to complete your final year at the end of your placement. We are interested in all specialisms however you should have a desire to work in business and financial services.
    • Confidence to communicate effectively to a range of stakeholders via different methods of communication
    • Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
    • An ability to work both independently and within a team
    • Willingness to commit to your own development
