There are opportunities in the following lively, fast paced teams:
Credit Management
You'll be part of developing key analytics, reporting and strategies. Leading and supporting other functions in and preventing relevant risks.
Credit Analytics
You will be responsible for ensuring we have the right data quality and analytical capability to deliver great business and customer outcomes. As a data-driven organisation we want to ensure that we are owning the way when it comes to data and analytics, this team will ensure we give our strategy colleagues the tools to do so.
Strategic & Operational Implementation
You will be responsible for testing credit decision strategy improvements. Your contribution will allow NewDay to continue to make effective and accurate application decisions as well as support the company’s drive to innovate in the consumer credit space.
Fraud Prevention
You will focus on detecting and preventing fraud across all NewDay Credit Cards and Finance products. This means supporting with changes, adhering to policies and building exciting strategies to help develop and optimise Fraud Prevention.
Data Science
Working alongside the entire team to develop decision science (‘traditional’ sector-specific credit risk modelling) and data science (machine learning and sophisticated statistical methods). The team produces powerful predictive modelling solutions for all aspects of the customer journey (Customer acquisition, Customer management, Collections, Fraud)
Your Skills & Experience
- You've graduated with a 2:1 degree or equivalent, in an analytical degree such as Mathematics, Economics, Statistics
- Analytically minded – someone who enjoys solving problems and digging for answers
- Highly organised with the ability to work independently and deliver work to agreed timelines
- Phenomenal collaboration and communication skills
- Superb attention to detail
- Solutions focused with creativity, energy and a personal aim to succeed
You may have experience of the following, but we aren't expecting everyone to necessarily tick all of the boxes!
- Previous work experience in a professional environment – summer internships, gap years, professional placements as part of your degree
- A degree from a data science related field
- Experience using a coding language
