The Sun has a mass-market audience and aims to appeal to a diverse audience in the UK and beyond. Here at Fabulous we are looking for the most talented and committed journalists to join us.

    The role

    You will work within the Fabulous team - comprising the magazine, website and the women's section of the newspaper. Your role will be to fill the smaller entertainment sections of the magazine - including the back page and inside celebrity interviews - reporting to the Fabulous Celebrity Editor - and running the brand's highly successful Instagram account - reporting to the Executive Digital Editor .

    Your role will involve generating ideas, setting up and writing interviews, sourcing pictures and working with the art team on the magazine and running our Instagram account posting daily posts, stories and reels. You should be completely up-to-date with the celebs we include and any news around them, have a good working knowledge of Instagram, be meticulously organised and buzzing with ideas for new content.

    Day to day you will:

    • Source newsy celebrity interviews for entertainment sections of the magazine
    • Commission and edit freelance copy
    • Forward plan along with the celebrity editor
    • Schedule posts, stories and reels on Instagram
    • Monitor the page for dips in views and react accordingly
    • Write reports on follower insights

    What we're looking for from you

    • Enthusiasm, imagination, tons of ideas, a contacts book brimming with celebrity PR and entertainment journalists details
    • Excellent interview skills
    • The ability and desire to consistently write and edit sparkling copy
    • A finger on the pulse when it comes to television and radio shows, as well as podcasts, and social media or digital trends
    • Thrive in a busy environment where you can take initiative to find solutions. Prioritise and manage your time to meet strict deadlines, maintaining high standards.
    • Willingness to be flexible as some out-of-hours working may be required.
